Your local vets in Wakefield and Dewsbury

I’m one of the Leeds Dog Wardens that came in with a little JRT cross on Tuesday. I just wanted to pass my thanks on to your wonderful staff. In all the years I’ve done this job I don’t think we’ve ever worked with a veterinary practice that are as friendly and accommodating as you guys are. You really get the difficulties we face when we bring stray dogs into you for treatment. From the reception staff, who often manage to squeeze an appointment in for us, to the vets, who are excellent at what they do, compassionate and understanding, a massive thank you!

Thanks also to Kirsten who I saw on Tuesday, she was great with the little dog I brought in and managed to treat the dog and make it more comfortable whilst also making sure we kept the cost down.

I wanted to write to express my gratitude for all the support you’ve given me and Sonny throughout his time at P&D vets. Sonny was a beautiful boy who loved nothing more than a good sniff and a cuddle. You consistently went above and beyond to ensure Sonny received the best care and attention, every time he needed it. The team has always been fantastic. My family and I will always be grateful for the exceptional experience we’ve had at Palmer and Duncan Vets. 

Right now, our hearts are broken, and we’ll have to adjust to life without our boy. It’s comforting to know that Sonny was given the most peaceful end to his life, surrounded by those who really cared for him.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the team for the way you looked after myself and Bella when we had to say goodbye.  Eleanor and Kelsey explained everything and it felt as though they were caring for their own pet.

Thanks again and you'll certainly be looking after our next dog.
